Ms. Culbertson
I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 where I majored in Management Information Systems. Upon graduating, I worked for five years at Kimberly-Clark Corporation (Kleenex, Huggies) and then later at Deloitte Consulting. In the fall of 2008, I decided to follow my first love and become a teacher. I have a master’s degree in Elementary and Middle Grades Education, and this is my eighth year teaching 5th grade. I spent my first three years teaching 5th grade at Cedar Hill Elementary in Lawrenceville and two years at Berkeley Lake Elementary in Duluth. This is my third year at Wilson Creek! Above is my family: Jarod, Aria (5), Jude (3), and Riley the dog.
Hobbies and Things I Love
I love reading! I loved reading as a child and still love it as an adult. In my room, we will spend a lot of time reading and writing about the books we read.
I also love walking/running outside, biking, going to the beach and the pool, and shopping!

Mrs. Gentile
My name is Ms. Gentile. I am thrilled to be joining the 5th-grade team at Wilson Creek Elementary School. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. It was fun living in a big city being close to museums, Central Park, and the theaters on Broadway. I also lived in Port Saint Lucie, Florida for nine years and loved experiencing the beach life. This has been my third year living in Georgia. One of my favorite things to do is explore all the beautiful hiking trails around Georgia. I also enjoy yoga and curling up to read a book with my 12-year-old cat Buddy. During football season, I love to cheer for the N.Y. Giants and the Atlanta Falcons.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Education and Masters Degree in Reading from Brooklyn College. This will be my 18th year teaching in grades K-7. Teaching reading has always been my passion. Working with children is an honor. I am looking forward to getting to know you and to begin our new journey in 5th grade together!
